Almost 800,000 people die due to suicide every year, which consists of one person who died every 40 seconds in a day according to the World Health Organization. This is something that ought to be brought to a daily conversation so that we are well aware of the importance of mental health as much as we care for our physical well-being.

it is the urge inside you to force you to get up every. day, and stay functioned.

it is the laughter you share when it feels like you cannot feel things anymore, because you believe: fake it till you make it.

it is the meal you still eat because that’s how you’d like to appreciate your blessing to be able eating with a full plate.

it is the good night, quality sleep you experienced after your heart aches.

it is the time you’ve been sacrificing to hear someone who needed to talk to; because it is part of your gratitude for being able to be there for those whom you cared about.

it is the emptiness in your heart because someone you love had been taken away from you, and you still share compassion and empathetic every day.

because you can, and you wanted to.

it is the empowering stories you share despite those who hear your stories despise you. you believe in your heart and how you feel.

it is the sadness when you feel unheard, misunderstood, judged, mistreated. yet you realize that there must be any reason for someone to act/do what they are doing.

it is an empowering, simple word like above that fuels us doing what we do.

it is also the takeaway point through feedbacks and bad reviews that facilitate us to evolve.

if we accept, we allow ourselves to grow.

it is the hope amid the pandemic, hurricane, raining blizzard for tomorrow’s surviving story to share.

it is the prayer of our surroundings and loved ones.

it is the steady, committed, abrupt calls asking ‘how you doing’ or ‘i missed talking to you’ initiatives.

I am grateful for being here and now today. For you, congratulations and thank you for staying here and now. Let’s do more! Let’s stay alive for the books you haven’t read, the school you’ve always wanted to enter, the celebrity crush you always wanted to meet, the dream vacation or future intentions you’ve daydreamed about while grinning! a fairytale wedding you’ve always wanted, a warm hug you deserve to get, a new menu from your favorite cafe or restaurant.

I know it’s me who is supposed to love you.

And when I’m home you know I got you

Is there somebody who can love you?

I’ve got to quoted that lyrics of The 1975 song titled “is there somebody who can watch you”.

For me, the answer is oneself. One should love oneself. Every part of it, the good side, the bad side, and all the curves, edges, the winning stories, and all bad ugly stories.
